Dedicated account team
A named account manager supported by a service team, with agreed SLAs and structured quarterly reviews. Your order history, approvals and artwork held centrally.
Corporate workwear programmes
Managed workwear, uniform and PPE programmes for organisations with hundreds or thousands of employees across multiple sites. A single accountable supplier, dedicated account team, online ordering portal and full reporting. Part of Bunzl plc, FTSE 100.
Tell us about your organisation and a senior member of the corporate team will come back to you.
The corporate programme
Most large organisations inherit a patchwork of suppliers, inconsistent branding and unmanaged spend. A managed programme replaces all of it with a single contract, a single standard and a single point of accountability.
A named account manager supported by a service team, with agreed SLAs and structured quarterly reviews. Your order history, approvals and artwork held centrally.
Site managers and employees order through Nexus from role-based, pre-approved kit lists at contracted pricing, with full traceability of what was ordered, by whom, and for which site.
Spend allowances by employee, site or cost centre, with consolidated invoicing and management reporting your finance team can work with directly.
Core garments held decorated and ready under a call-off arrangement, so new starters and replacements despatch immediately rather than waiting on production.
Rebrands, acquisitions and refreshes delivered as projects: sizing, phased production, packing by site or named individual, and a committed go-live date.
Workwear Express is part of Bunzl plc, a FTSE 100 distribution group. That means financial stability, audited supply chains and buying power an independent supplier cannot match.
Implementation
We map your headcount, sites, roles and current arrangements, then set out what a programme would look like, what it would cost, and what it would save. No charge, no obligation.
Role-based kit lists, contracted pricing, portal configuration, stockholding levels and service level agreements. Every garment approved by visual proof before production.
Initial rollout delivered by site or named individual, then day-to-day management: new starters, replacements, reporting and structured account reviews.
One operation, one site
No subcontracted decoration, no third-party fulfilment. The people who take your call sit yards from the machines that decorate your garments and the bays that despatch them.
Manufacturing capability
Not a broker. Not a middleman. A production operation built for national-scale programmes, with every process under our own roof and our own control.
Online ordering & traceability
Every order, every garment, every wearer — visible in one platform. Nexus is our online ordering and traceability portal, built for organisations managing thousands of employees across multiple sites.
Leave a name and number. A member of the corporate team will call within one working hour, 8am–6pm.

From national retailers and government departments to the emergency services, organisations that cannot afford supply failure already trust us with their name.
Governance, compliance and ESG
Corporate buyers don't just score product and price. They score risk. As part of Bunzl plc, we come with the governance already in place.
Group-level supplier auditing and ethical sourcing standards across the Bunzl plc network, with documentation available for due diligence.
Certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 by LRQA under UKAS accreditation, Cyber Essentials certified, a BSiF Registered Safety Supplier and a Sedex member.
Sustainable garment ranges, decoration processes and packaging options, with reporting to support your own ESG commitments and disclosures.
Experienced in formal procurement: RFI and RFP responses, framework requirements, and the financial and compliance documentation your process demands.
Sustainability
Sustainability in workwear is no longer a nice-to-have; it's a scored section of every serious tender. We build it into the programme rather than bolting it on.
Organic cotton, recycled polyester and lower-impact alternatives specified into your kit lists, so choosing the responsible option is the default, not the exception.
In-house embroidery and print gives us direct control over processes, inks and waste, rather than pushing the problem down a subcontract chain.
Reduced and recyclable packaging as standard, with consolidated deliveries by site to cut shipment numbers and road miles across a rollout.
When old branded kit comes out of circulation, we can manage secure de-branding, recycling and responsible disposal, protecting both your brand and your waste figures.
Programme-level reporting to support your Scope 3, ESG and CSR submissions, so your uniform supply chain is evidence in your report rather than a gap in it.
As part of Bunzl plc we operate within group-wide sustainability targets and supply chain standards, independently reported at FTSE 100 level year on year.
Workwear Express consolidated three incumbent suppliers into a single managed programme across 40 sites. Service levels have been met consistently and uniform spend is down year on year.Head of Procurement, national logistics business
Straight answers
Typically 50 uniformed staff and up. Below that, a standard account works fine. Above 500, the portal, stockholding and rollout management start doing serious heavy lifting.
Most companies that move to us are consolidating several suppliers, fixing inconsistent branding, or seeking a more dependable service. We'll benchmark your current arrangement in the scoping call. If you're genuinely well served, we'll tell you.
As a project: sizing exercise, phased production, packing by site or named individual, and a coordinated delivery date so the whole business switches at once. We've run rollouts across dozens of sites simultaneously.
Yes. Credit accounts with agreed terms, PO referencing, consolidated invoicing and reporting split however your finance team needs it.
As part of Bunzl plc we work within group-level supply chain auditing and sustainability commitments, and we can support your tender documentation with the certifications procurement teams ask for.
Depends on scale, but a portal and kit list for a mid-size business is typically live within weeks, not months. Full national rollouts are planned to your dates, and we commit to them.
Yes. PPE within your programme is certified to the relevant standards for its category, such as EN ISO 20471 for high-visibility clothing, with conformity documentation supplied for your records and audits.
It can if done badly, which is exactly why decoration placement and methods on certified garments matter. We decorate PPE in line with the certification requirements and will tell you plainly when a requested placement isn't compliant.
Yes. For large rollouts we can supply size sets, run on-site fitting sessions and manage wearer trials, so the order that goes into production reflects real people rather than guesswork.
Securely and in line with UK GDPR. Sizing and name data is held only for running your programme, access is restricted, and we'll work within your data processing requirements, including a DPA where needed.
Not in practice on a managed programme. Stocked core garments can be called off in ones and twos for new starters and replacements; that's the point of holding your stock decorated and ready.
Typically one to three years with structured review points. Long enough to justify the setup investment on both sides, short enough that we have to keep earning the business.
Contracted pricing with agreed review mechanisms, openly indexed against garment and input costs. No mid-term surprises, and any change comes with the workings shown.
Straightforward exchange process through your portal or account team. Decorated garments in standard sizes are typically restocked against your programme rather than wasted.
New starters trigger a named kit pack from held stock, usually despatched same or next day. For leavers we can support kit recovery and secure de-branding where your policy requires it.
